One-Stop Culinary Tasting Expo Set For Oct 27-28

Local Restaurants, Chefs, Vendors & Food Trucks Ready to Spice Up Arlington Park

Itasca, Il (October 9, 2012) Cash in on this culinary craze! The general public is invited to attend the
Chicago Cooking Expo, held October 27-28 at the Arlington Park Racetrack (2200 West Euclid Avenue,
Arlington Heights, IL 60006) from 10AM-5PM. Local foodies, critics, cooks and diners can eagerly
anticipate a one-stop tasting experience of Chicago’s top culinary establishments. The event, produced by
Reflection Communications, presented by the Cooking Skills Academy of Itasca, Il., is sponsored by
Chicago’s own Groupon and has organized some of the area’s top restaurants, chefs, vendors and food
trucks to present tasting portions of popular dishes and drinks. Food and beverage vendors will cook and
pour on-site, tending to guests of all ages. Attendees may purchase tickets to the event in advance via
Groupon ($36 for a 4-pack, $20 for 2-pack, alcohol included). Tickets will be sold at the door on the day
of the event for $20 per person all-inclusive or $10 per person excluding alcohol.

“This is going to be a great event. We’re putting the best restaurants and food trucks under one roof, in an
entertaining and fun environment,” Paul Guerrero, Culinary Director of the Cooking Skills Academy,
said. “People have been asking for this. Meet and eat the most popular local restaurants in one place, then
walk down the aisle and sample food from the epicenter of the Chicago food truck craze. Discover these
