The Mount Prospect Lions Club Farmers’ Market is open for the season! The Market will be held every Sunday, June 14 - Oct. 25 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Mount Prospect Train Depot West Commuter Parking Lot (corner of Northwest Hwy & Rte. 83). For a wonderful array of fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers and other goodies, stop by and check it out!
During the 20 weeks the Market is open the Lions Club will be sponsoring various activities to enhance the ambiance of the Market.
The Lions Club will collect used eye glasses, old cell phones and ink cartridges at the Farmers Market every Sunday and at Keefer's Pharmacy in downtown Mount Prospect. All donations help the needy of the community.
